Introducing Cindy Hartin

Helping families and their elder loved ones has been at the backbone of Cindy Hartin’s work. With over 20 year of business experience, immense communication skills in regards to cultivating relationships, and the overarching proven leadership in the health care field, we knew Hartin was a catch for Envoy America and to lead our expansion.

Cindy Hartin met co-founder KC Kanaan at a Case Management Society of America conference. After learning more about Hartin’s passion and understanding the challenges many seniors face, Kanaan approached the idea of expansion, and made Cindy Hartin Senior Vice President of Operations – Tucson.

“This service has been life-changing for so many seniors and their families in the Phoenix area since it launched in 2015, and we are thrilled to be able to bring this service here to Tucson,” said Cindy Hartin, Senior Vice President of Operations – Tucson. “A large segment of the local population in Tucson are seniors who want to stay active but can no longer get behind the wheel of a car, and we make that freedom possible and affordable.”

Kanaan and co-founder Andy Beran knew Envoy America had to expand. Tucson was always in the future plan, but the move now made so much sense once Hartin came on board.

“We have many snowbirds and retirees in Tucson. The traffic and roads can be difficult to navigate – I just knew it was going to be a great service for the seniors I currently work with,” said Hartin. “We believe that isolation can cause a senior to become withdrawn and that their health can decline. We want our seniors to thrive without the worry of driving. That’s where Envoy America becomes the best solution.”

Instead of the standard curbside service of other transportation companies, Envoy America offers a door-to-door service where drivers are companions for their clients and remain with them until they are back home. All drivers understand the needs of seniors and provide a helping hand for doctors’ appointments, grocery shopping, social outings, religious services and more, just like a son or daughter would with tasks that often become more difficult for seniors. In most cases, Envoy America rates cost less than a taxi or other ridesharing service.

“We created Envoy America so that my mom and people like her would never have to worry about where they wanted to go,” said Envoy America CEO and Co-Founder K. C. Kanaan. “We understand that seniors need reliable, safe, door-to-door transportation that comes at a specified time, is affordable, and provides polite, compassionate, professional service, and that’s what we do every single time.”
